Best to be slow with it. Slow enough to see afresh what’s already before you. All that you take for granted changes when you’re seeing clearly into everything to be grateful for.
It’s what I see when looking over water, to the horizon, seeing the irresistible ebb and flow that have been the true state of the oceans for billions of years. Once grateful, I can see those billions echoed in the few years I have lived to watch, swim in or sail on water.
Grateful for time, too, time that’s fluid, pure time. I can be just a thing that sees the ebb & flow of moments gifted for living.
Once grateful for seeing and for the time to see, you and I can turn and ourselves be like water and time.
Ebbing & flowing. Irresistible.
